While wedding rings that include diamonds generally only wrap halfway around, eternity bands feature diamonds that go all the way around the band. Although many eternity bands feature round diamonds, these rings can be made with fancy shapes ranging form princess cut diamonds to emerald cut and more. Although wedding bands are generally used as part of the wedding ceremony, eternity bands are often used to celebrate sentimental moments such as an anniversary or the birth of a child.
